About Sacramento Suburban Kiwanis
Kiwanis International is a global organization of members of every age who are dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Sacramento Suburban Kiwanis is a part of this movement comprised of volunteers who support children and young adults in the greater Sacramento community.
Membership in a Kiwanis club affords an opportunity to work with others for the benefit of the community and the world. Club members benefit from service projects and activities, access to informative and entertaining gatherings, lifelong friendships, and a sense of accomplishment.
Activities supported by Sacramento Suburban Kiwanis include, but are not limited to:
- Kiwanis Family House
- Key Clubs
- Boy Scout Troop #53
- Student Scholarships
- Assisting Local Elementary Schools
- Local Shelters and Food Closets
